back when

ok. here’s an issue; i’ve been working on 4 tracks for close to 2 months. my ambition is to make some sleeves, burn some discs and produce a proper release.

but the following question has been pressing me;

should i give the music out for free over the internet?

or charge for it?

i’m terrified at the thought of contributing to the utterly uninteresting pool of amateur internet music out there

and currently i feel like i’ve missed a step that i’d rather jump anyway

  1. post it for free. the only thing that charging for it will do is make sure that no one hears it.

    don’t worry about whether it will be considered a “proper” release or not. let the product speak for itself; go for for exposure, not for exclusivity.

    you can always re-release it later when you’ve got your major label dollars to spend and millions of fans who want to own og ninetales, right?

    Yeah I think the online release is a necessary evil these days. Can’t beat a tangible CD or record with a nice jacket though, I’d love to help you with it.

    Also, if you want to get famous cut the middleman and make a sex tape
